[big hearts are] for breaking

Chicago girl who reads a lot of comic books and writes in too many notebooks at once. I like to cross my fingers and use Tumblr as a fangirl outlet. Speaking of: OMG THE NEW JOSS WHDON MOVIE. [carogriffin.com]

My mom asked me to buy her a New York hoodie when I visited Blair in the city this summer. I may or may not have forgotten.

Last week, she told me she couldn’t wait to get her new hoodie when I go down for Christmas. She’s had such a rough time that I couldn’t bear to tell her I forgot.

So now I’m scouring the internet for a cheap hoodie that says New York on it, with the intention of taking it home and being all ‘yeah, totally bought this in Times Square while I was waiting for Blair to get out of work.’

I can’t decide if this makes me the worst daughter in the world or the best daughter ever? Can we just split the difference and call it even?

Also: WHY ARE THESE HOODIES SO EXPENSIVE? They were like $10/15 on the street. $40 + SHIPPING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Le Sigh.
